John Coltrane's 'Lost Album' Is A Window Into His Pursuit Of The Impossible
Found this. Both Directions at Once was recorded March 6, 1963, two years before Live at the Half Note: One Down, One Up was recorded. Apparently, "One Up, One Down" share many similarities to "One Down, One Up". If you haven't listened to that song, it's very long, but it's so worth it.
