Anyone see him live this year? My girlfriend got me tickets to see him in Boston for my birthday and I can’t wait

 

I saw him in Nebraska. Was really funny. We had a strange crowd and he straight up roasted the shit out of a couple of people. But his planned stuff was very funny too.

 

First ever Patreon subscription and I don’t even listen to podcasts often, lol.

It's the perfect length to drift off too imo. Started tuning out around the nine minute mark and paused to save the rest for tonight.

 

I'm also disappointed it's only 15 minutes, considering they'll only be releasing a new episode once a month.

 

Yeah, especially given his delivery it’s like a page of written content lol

 

Loving his podcast, and I’ve also been watching How To Make it in USA for the first time, which is a very funny and somewhat unpolished YouTube series he and Connor O’Malley did together. The episodes are 5-7 minutes long and I recommend it for anyone who needs more Joe Pera in their life (which should be everyone)!

 

the CSI: Dalton pitch from that webseries is so good. A made up city in Florida where sex is #1, and people fuck in helicopters and boats. Starring the e-cig guy

That's messed up. Max is also taking down Over the Garden Wall, which I always want to watch in the Fall. Now there's all this new Discovery bullshit I want nothing to do with.

 

Goddamnit. Guess I gotta rewatch in the next like week before classes start

 

I think Over the Garden Wall is still on Hulu. Really makes me want to find physical copies of shows I like to make sure I can actually watch them.

 

Two massive losses.

 

I saw two stops of his tour, so about half the material was familiar, but it still hits. Absolutely adored the last segment, which was new to me and perfectly encapsulates what's so special about Joe's comedy.

 

Special had me dying, his crowd work is actually so original. So good
