She said she has 11 songs recorded and there are videos of the new songs she played last night on the internet

 

Wow I had completely given up hope of ever getting new music from her

 

Lmao literally just repeated this exact same thought process

 

Sawdust & Diamonds gets cut off but it has all of the new songs

 

Drove to Utah for basically the purpose of seeing Joanna tonight (and seeing a bunch of the country I’ve not seen before). She was so fucking incredible. Opened with In California and I was on the verge of tears for the rest of the set. Played a new song that was phenomenal. She choked up on stage talking about Steve Albini too, which also got me and pretty much everyone else in the crowd.

 

I need new Joanna.

 

She popped up in 2023 and played a few shows that included new material then vanished again for all of 2024. I hope this is the year we finally get something new.

 

Sorry to bump this thread but I’m listening to Ys and it is still one of the greatest albums of all time, up there with Have One On Me.
