I’m actually digging this so far. It’s a pretty unexpected direction for him but I think it’s done well, and I respect that he never does a retread of past releases. It might not be one of my top JMSN albums but I’m enjoying it more than I was expecting.

 

I have no problem with changing directions and trying new things, I welcome it, but yeah... I don't think he nails anything here haha

 

I agree. I actually think this is pretty good and the new direction is refreshing
