Btw, the spoken interludes don't bother me anymore. It took some time but they've finally grown on me! This album is up there with his best stuff.

Damn that was fast... hopefully he gets more attention with this album, a Beats 1 premiere is a good sign imo.

The new album is awesome. Early favourites are "Slide", "Slowly" and "Patiently"

 

Whatever Makes U Happy is basically just more of the same, but when the songs are this good I definitely don't mind

Slide is JMSN doing God's work.

 

I saw JMSN last week and I was honestly kinda blown away. I figured it'd be a solid show, but he is a really fantastic live performer and the full band sound brought so much to his music. Excellent selection of tracks as well, really fun and highly recommended live

I thought his last two albums were great but they had a very similar vibe so I'm glad this song is switching it up
