Yeah I probably listen to CTL the most also but that's not a bad thing at all.

Invented is the one I listen to the least in full.

 

Invented is easily my least favourite. Clarity's getting a lot of listens from me recently too.

 

Damage for me

I don't listen to invented much but I don't think a single song on there is less than great. V underrated IMO, including by me

 

I think My Best Theory, Movielike and Coffee and Cigarettes are my favorites on there and I don't even love those. I don't like Higher Devotion or Action Needs an Audience at all and there's a few others I think are weak too.

I really like Damage. Even Byebyelove has kind of grown on me.

 

Futures remains the one I listen to the most, but Invented has gotten a fair amount of play lately.

 

Futures will always be my favorite, but I've been jamming Invented and Damage lately and they are nearly as good.

 

I might be the biggest Invented fan on this planet.

 

Invented just has that autumn vibe that I love so much. As soon as the opening strum of Heart is Hard to Find begins, it just feels like fall.

Exhibit A of wrongness

 

I always forget how much I like Static Prevails until I listen to it again, and then I listen to it a ton for a little while.

But for the most part JEW is a band whose albums I listen to in certain seasons –

Bleed American – Summer
Chase This Light – Spring/Summer
Clarity - Winter
Futures - Fall
Invented - Fall

I don't really have a strong association with Damage or Static Prevails in this respect, but I really like them both.

I'm not sure if I've ever listened to Static Prevails all the way through. Unless it was just on in the background.

I don't know if I've listened to Static Prevails this decade.

 

I've never heard it. Probably will soon.

 

static prevails is a great emo record that clarity basically improves on in every way. i still love every song on static

 

Chase This Light and Invented have been my most frequently played lately.

 

What's interesting is that Mark and Tom from Blink were going around calling Jimmy Eat World their favorite band in the world while touring Dude Ranch in 1997/98 when Static Prevails was still the most recent release. They must have sensed something special there even then.

 

That is quite literally the smartest thing to ever come out of Toms mouth

 

Futures and CTL are the ones I feel like I listen to the most. Static Prevails is by far my least listened to album, but Invented and Damage don't get played from me often either.

 

Excluding Static Prevails, Bleed American is probably my least listened to from start to finish as of late.

 

Night Drive being the worst is crazy talk. It beats Futures, Just Tonight, Work, and Nothingwrong by a mile.
