Had Surviving on last night. Has 2 if not 3 of my top 10 Jimmy songs on it. Delivery and Congratulations, Recommit is the maybe.
does this mean a rerecording is on the way? would love a recording of the album from this tour. the 'believe in what you want' dvd had about half of BA on it live.
I don’t think so. I haven’t seen anything that would point to that. Being with Trombino was clearly for the breakdowns.
True story: I told a guy at work I was going to see Jimmy Eat World at Red Rocks next week. He said "oh yeah I remember them." And immediately broke out into All the Small Things. It was not a joke.
1) BA does NOT need a re-record. dont put that evil out there. 2) those vocal stems from the end had me laughing out loud. love this type of content.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: re-records are fantastic because the original will always exist, and it's just a fun bonus to hear alternate versions of familiar songs.
Thinking on it more, in this context, a re-record would be really weird. From just watching this first breakdown and then praising all these choices and production, it would be weird to then be like, “we did it again though!” Would be odd.
Love how the BA breakdown video starts with the guys apologizing for being late. Further proving they’re the kindest, realest guys in music.
I was enjoying watching the reactions (or lackthereof) of the the guys behind Jim. Rick’s reactions were fun.
Anyone have any idea on lineup order? Trying to figure out if sunny day or get up kids are playing first in Chicago.
They've got songs but not enough for an album yet and don't want to put something out that doesn't live up to the rest of their work Probably next year
Tomorrow’s Red Rocks concert will be my first show there at the venue and my first JEW show at all, which is crazy to admit since I’ve been a fan since Bleed American. I’m super excited for these long overdue things!
