I've never been to Pier 17 but I have heard multiple complaints that the sound is always bad. Brooklyn Paramount is a great venue.
All the Motion City shows are so far from me, what a huge bummer. They're the only shows I'm interested in on here.
Paramount is a beautiful indoor venue with great sound quality and a lot of bars to alleviate long lines (the front of the GA even has a bar up front so you dont have to trek through 3,000 people to get a drink). Also the floor is sloped downwards, so even from the back you have a pretty clear view of the stage. BUT Pier 17 is outdoors with a beautiful sightline of the Brooklyn Bridge and the skyline of FiDi. On a nice summer night this is the venue to go with.
I'd like to know too. Assuming I'll get an email in the morning before the tickets go on sale though.
decided imma shoot for a ticket for the red rocks show. if i get one, imma drive up there for the weekend. hit up pikes peak and maybe moab. def the coors brewery in golden.
According to Minus the Bear’s IG post the code is ONTHEROAD. But idk if it would only be for those specific dates or the whole tour.
Revisiting Bleed American this afternoon and man, I can’t say with confidence this isn’t the best Jimmy album. Like yeah it’s Clarity or Futures probably but…
Was all excited then went to purchase tickets in presale for Boston and for some reason in two minds. I will see how I feel come general sale on Friday.
Jimmy Eat World talk celebrating 25 years of 'Bleed American': "We were kids living in the moment" It’s been seven years since your last album ‘Surviving’. That’s the same amount of time in which The Beatles recorded their entire catalog. What’s going on? “It’s been our longest break for sure! Between the plague and trying to catch up from that, it’s been a lot. We came out of the pandemic and we haven’t stopped playing; we’ve definitely been more on than off. We’re always working on new material and I do feel like that shift into a creative writing mode is underway, but I can’t yet say that we have anything that I’d feel confident releasing. It’s time to really focus and shift gears here.”
