Ha, yeah. I got to interview the band during the Clarityx10 tour, and he signed my vinyl the same way. I respect it.
His signature looks exactly like the Integrity Blues cover art, probably a known fact but I'm guessing it's his handwriting there too?
Hopefully the idea of doing this is to get all these new one-off singles out all together to clean the slate in preparation for a new album cycle.
yeah i'm bummed there's nothing new on there but i will be glad to have all these on vinyl! and i forgot how much i love that call to love cover, bring back female vocals/duets on the next album please.
I'm just relieved those songs are part of a release. I hate orphaned / one-off singles in the age of streaming services.
100% I'll listen to these all way more as an EP. Also, glad there was no merch I wanted. EP only purchase is nice.
Feels a little funny not to include Telepath on this, even though I know they didn't write that song. Or even go back and pick up Half Heart? Looking forward to more news from these lads next year.
I had no idea the Bethany duet was out there since the first lockdown. Completely passed me by back then, but I was probably busy listening to Future Nostalgia 24/7 The original song
telepath already had a physical release, they did a 7" split with manchester orchestra. and i believe half heart was the b-side on the love never 7".
correct about half heart I own this 7” https://www.discogs.com/release/11968648-Jimmy-Eat-World-Love-Never-Half-Heart
This feels like a nice little tying up loose ends/songs before rolling into new album rollout next year. I’m here for it.
