Integrity Blues is a top tier Jimmy Eat World album for me. Surviving is a solid album but a bit of a step down if I'm being honest.
I have my little gripes with each of their post-Futures record except for Integrity, which blew me away and I still find to be on par with their Clarity - Bleed American - Futures run. It just sucks that it was released when they were past their prime.
I like Surviving way more than I like Integrity Blues, although that one is good too and I remember being super impressed when it came out because I had thought I was over them.
I gotta be honest I really don’t get the hate for this song. I can definitely get disliking pain, or the middle—a worse song than pain imo—or some of their other singles, but this doesn’t seem too offensive to me
I really like this song a lot, kinda just wish it were longer, but it's too early to tell if I really wanna go to bat for it haha
Integrity Blues rules, it’s why I’m so cold on Surviving. I’d probably like that record a lot more had it followed any of the previous 3
I listened to a B-Sides playlist on YouTube while cleaning the apartment and had a great time with it, been a while since I checked them out. Be Sensible and Open Bar Reception are so good. And so is Jen (and sometimes Jennifer)

Clicked this out of curiosity to see album art and I had no idea Jim Adkins did his signature by just writing his name in caps I have his Fender model despite not being a diehard fan because I'm a sucker for P90s and it's a very good guitar and thought they were just labeling it lazy but no I guess it is how he does his signature
