Hey, same. I drove there from my college dorm specifically with the purpose of buying the deluxe edition.

 

Was fun reading this one back, from the 10-year anniversary. Invented is one of those albums that meant so, so much to me when it came out. Probably up there with the most I ever played an album in its first three months post-release.

Stay On My Side Tonight turns 20 today!

 

Damn. Disintegration still hits so fucking hard. So glad I got to see them play it live in 2007. What a special song.

 

I played those four songs A LOT during the fall of my freshman year of high school, so thanks for making me feel old @Greg.

 

I got the CD for Christmas that year (no rush to buy back then in the heyday of Kazaa/Bearshare) and that specific Christmas feels like an entirely different life for various sad reasons. So, yea, big same.

 

I was really hoping for a SOMST song at Furnace Fest, but sadly we didn’t get one. We did get some deep deep cuts (Jim mentioned one song was from 1995) but overall the set was mostly the bangers you’d expect at a festival set.

 

But you got “No Sensitivity” which rocks. Would love to see them play that one.

 

Saw them play that on the OG Futures tour. For only catching them 4 times, I’ve seen some real gems played from them. And two were festival/support sets.

 

Coincidentally, Integrity Blues was mine.

They played My Best Theory at Furnace Fest last night…so technically Invented is getting repped live, but barely haha

 

i can hear the band rush out! and play the single! not like one song is any better!

(jokes. the title track is the best song on that album)
