They're opening for MCR in Phoenix next year on September 6th!

Integrity Blues for me and I'd argue it belongs to be in the same discussion as Clarity, Bleed American and Futures

Integrity Blues has become my main October/November staple from them. It’s the first one I throw on when the weather starts to get chilly.

I doubt it would but I hope this doesn't preclude them from a Bleed American 25 run next year.

It's a cool cover - I've checked the whole EP out (with 3 other covers preceeding this one) and didn't expect to like it that much - she sounds like Suzie from The Narrative at times here

I've just listened to Clarity too and it's more of a winter album for me, still fits any other season too. Can't decide with which album should I start the autumn vibe (Futures hits me the most from November)

Clarity is for sure a winter album, maybe late fall. Invented, Futures, SP, Surviving, and IB are fall records IMO

Will also echo Clarity being a winter album. I first heard it in winter during a real low point and that’s the time of year I always associate it with. Also a little bit very early spring when it’s still cold but you’re starting to see signs of life again.

  12. Clarity is a spring/summer one for me. In the past few years, the slow burns and moodier songs hit me more during long drives and walks on sunny days.

One thing is for sure, Sky Harbor works best when it's dark.

I’ve always thought 12.23.95 works best a couple days before Christmas. Just something about it, ya know?

Just Watch the Fireworks makes it a summer album lol. I do think of it as a spring album but that's just because of specific memories tied to it with the windows open in college.

But the correct answer is there is no wrong time for any Jimmy Eat World album

I associate Just Watch The Fireworks with Bonfire/Guy Fawkes night in November. Probably a British thing as I don't celebrate 4th July.

Yeah, "Just Watch the Fireworks" has never felt particularly "summer-y" to me. Clarity is best in winter, IMO.

  19. I also think Clarity is a winter album even if my strongest memories with it — falling in love with it on my portable CD player at my brother's baseball games, and dancing to "For Me This Is Heaven" at my own and a friend's weddings — are very much summer memories.

  21. Is it not "faintest snow keep falling?" I haven't been singing that wrong for 20 years have I?

Between 12.23.95, Christmas Card (which is on my copy) and receiving the CD for Christmas one year- Clarity is a Christmas album

Not only is it a winter album, but I also think it's a night time album. Table for Glasses with a rooftop view after dark will fundamentally change you as a human being
