Could really use a new Jimmy Eat World album right now, but that's just me

 

Give me a three run of bleed american, futures, and chase this light.

 

Chicago temps dropped from 90 to 70 (aka Fake Fall) and it is JIMMY WEATHER.

 

Clarity-Bleed American-Futures is the only real three album run that matters.

What's crazy is I'd personally make the argument their three album run of Bleed American, Futures and Chase This Light is even better

 

I think if we’re arguing “best emo three album run,” you cannot exclude Clarity. But I do love Chase This Light a lot.

if im gonna be honest my goat jimmy run is all 6 from static through invented. maybe my favorite 6 album stretch in this whole scene

 

great show by jimmy in houston last saturday.
i will say tho, alot of friends that went said that they were lacking a bit.
nfg brought it as the opener. all high energy songs.
i think jimmy played one slow jam too many.

 

"for me this is heaven" just came on shuffle. this song remains a top 3 favorite song of all time for me. the last minute or so still gives me chills every time.

 

I love that it's (mostly) become a set staple in recent years. Song always hits like a ton of bricks.

 

Y'all ever go on a discography run and it ends up lasting over a month and then all of a sudden you've listened for 800 minutes? or is it just me

 

Started my day off with a brief walk at 730am on a sunny, crisp morning up a country road with a couple of JEW songs on repeat including Delivery from Surviving. Perfect track for that moment - those drums - and I'd say top 10 Jimmy for me.

they sounded great tonight, played mostly clarity/bleed/futures stuff of course, but still fun. i would pay like $500 for a show where they played only songs from invented on.

 

why wasn't this on the actual album? it is simply too good

 

It was the only bonus track on the European version of the CD and I'm so glad that I found it in there when I bought it. Just the perfect segue to Dizzy, for me it's even better.
