Static Prevails is 29 today. Whoa.

 

Totally holds up. I love SP so much.

 

Their second least good ahead of Damage. Love all their records honestly (the baseline is really good all the way up to Favourite Album Ever tier), but not the Jimmy I reach for. Should throw it on today.

I'd put Invented behind both, honestly. That one just never clicked for me and at least Damage has I Will Steal You Back on, which is a banger.

 

I listen to all of their stuff here and there, but Clarity, Futures, and Static Prevails are the 3 I really go back to regularly. Static Prevails is very underappreciated. It's right up there with all the other 90s emo albums I listen to from Mineral, Braid, Penfold, etc.
