Giving you the heads up that Jimmy Eat World will probably perform Clarity from front to back at Best Friends Forever 2025 in Las Vegas

Same, I went to the one at Metro in Chicago and that's where I picked up my copy of Clarity on vinyl.

  5. I picked up Clarity on vinyl at my show too! I was at their Tempe show, which was the show they recorded for the Clarityx10 live album they put out. Cool being able to listen to that still. That show's setlist was so awesome.

Now this is a good tour announcement. They're actually coming to Florida and it's not some obscure 20-30 minute set at a festival!?

It's been a bit! Made a post in the accountability thread a couple of months ago about it all. Good to see your username!

I mean, this’ll be like 40-45 minutes. But, yea.

Need a headlining set. Being an opener means mostly just the big songs and little else.

Oh, I didn't catch that they weren't the headliner. Bummed. I live far enough away from those Florida dates to not impulsively buy tickets (because Florida is long and it takes forever just to drive out of it).

Listened to Invented yesterday and the title track closer might be one of my favourite songs by them.

Sucks the only date they’re not doing is LA

Of course this is coming to the worst venue in Northeast Ohio

What? I saw Sum 41 there last fall and it was a great venue.

Should clarify - the venue itself is fine. Getting in and out is an absolute nightmare for full capacity shows (Sum 41 show had the lawn closed). With lawn, capacity is like 21K and there is one way in and one way out on a two lane road.

yeaaaa, it’s a nice venue but not if you’re in any sort of hurry to get home. I went for the first time last summer and parked super far away and walked like 20mins to the gates

    They should get added eventually

I mean, every huge venue I’ve been too has issues with that. Some better than others, to be sure. Whatever we are calling the Post Gazette pavilion here in Pittsburgh is the worst lot I’ve ever been in.

Blossom is quite literally in the middle of nowhere. I went regularly to shows there from 2002-2013. Haven’t been back since then and told myself I would never go again. Every show I ever went to there, could take anywhere from 1-5 hours to get into the venue to park. I’ve been to shows there where I haven’t been home til 4 a.m. because it has taken 3-5 hours to get out.

It’s not like going to an arena or stadium show in the city where there are 8-12 different ways in and out. Blossom is an absolute nightmare and is well known for being so. It’s a tailgate venue where a ton of people show up 8-10 hours before a show and get hammered in the parking lot.

The Sum 41 show probably had 3-4K people at that show you went to, tops. Lawn (13K cap) was closed.

    this is all there is

Big Casino is such a killer song and wow what a time when they released it as a single in the rollout for CTL. Futures was when I really got into them, and then I got to dig into the back catalog and they became my favorite band, and then they dropped that single, and I probably played it 1000 times before the album dropped.

anyway it came up on shuffle this morning and it's real good
