Seeing a Jimmy Eat World concert is pretty much the only thing that would make me subject myself to attending a Rays baseball game tonight

 

I put on my 14-16 year old nostalgia playlist on my drive home from the Thursday show tonight and I shit you not like half of futures played back to back to back to back I almost cried (ok I did cry)

 

When We Were Young warmup show maybe it's right before that

 

Well, it would be weird to warm up with a different album than the one they’re playing at WWWY.

 

I wouldn’t be opposed to them switching the album they do at WWWY lol

Whatever Jimmy are doing on the 17th, it's not a WWWY sideshow

 

Gf got me tickets to the Van Burren show for my birthday and I am beyond excited to see my favourite band in their home town

 

Seeing these guys on Saturday, can’t wait

 

Apparently they played a DNC-adjacent event hosted by Roy Wood Jr at House of Blues Chicago last night. Had no idea it was happening and woke up very jealous as I looked through a bunch of friends' Instagram stories.

 

I saw that Zach was in town and a comment mentioned the HOB. Jealous of anyone there!

 

I revisited their Singles comp recently and that made me realize I need this band to do full live playthroughs of Static Prevails and Singles.

New album unlocked!

 

They’re streaming their Futures show next month. At first I figured I’d pass since we have the Phoenix sessions. However, then I realized there will be more player and it’s Jimmy Eat World, so I will be watching haha

 

I was listening to Closer, it's such a brilliant moody track, I love the lyrics to the chorus.

 

I wonder if they’ll do the slow intro for the title track or barrel into it like they did for the Phoenix Sessions.
