Half-joking prediction based on nothing, but when do we think they first introduce a new song to the setlist on this tour? Do they wait until the 22nd and do it at MSG or . . .
Oh, I mean a brand new song that no one has ever heard before. I feel like the high profile of this tour is the perfect time to do it, especially once it gets going.
Because it's not their core audience and if they were to do something like that, they'd probably want to do it front of a fan-base that is 100% theirs not to mention, should there be any live leaks of it, it probably wouldn't sound as tight in an arena with many of the fans potentially not even paying attention/being into it as it would in a more typical club-sized venue that they usually play.
Yeah, I don't think so. It would get them a ton of buzz, and plenty of bands do that. Debut the new song, play it for a few dates, then it's officially released.
JEW has been a band for 30 years with a *TON* of possible songs to pick and choose to play from in a 45 to 50-minute slot. They have to do their best to capture a crowd as openers. I would be absolutely floooooooored if they debuted a new song live out of nowhere on this tour.
To be fair, to the casual fan waiting for FOB that only knows The Middle- there’s really no difference between a completely brand new song and All The Way (Stay) / Something Loud etc
You guys might be changing your tune about if they play a new song or not, come Monday... I'll see myself out.
