The people (me) deserve an explanation

Jk I'm not entitled to a specific song on a setlist but it would've been so good

 

HE likes it, maybe the rest of the band don't wanna play it

that album in general doesn't get a lot of love from them as of late.

 

I feel like they rode pretty high on that album for a while so it makes sense if they took a lot if it out of rotation now. I saw them on tour like 3 times that cycle and hoped they'd play that song each time and never did. Obv the shows were still great tho

 

i only saw them once during that era and they played 4 off it, but no title track

Integrity Blues (both the album and the song): absolutely great

 

Hey, I was there! Terrific show and I bawled when they played Polaris because I didn't think that was a tune they ever played out.

My wife just went into labor with our first baby, a girl, tonight. She should arrive tomorrow, and we can't wait to meet her! In the meantime, all this feels like the realization we're in a future memory, from which we patiently request... delivery. Feels fitting we listened to Jimmy, and that song specifically, while running errands earlier this evening.

 

Weird. Any connection? Like do they play the Middle a ton in the stadium?

It's the middle of the game so they will play "The Middle." Makes perfect sense.

 

My hope is that they happen to be recording at a studio nearby, but I have no idea of the connection.

 

It has now been four years and three months since we got an album from this band, and I am not happy about that.

 

All I saw was halftime and thought Super Bowl Halftime?!

 

Usher and Jimmy Eat World, the collaboration we didn't know we needed.

I'm still betting on (hoping for) a single later this month before the tour with FOB starts, then an album in the fall.

 

Yeah we’ve been hoping for a single and then an album for years.

 

"Something Loud" came on the other day and I thought "Man, I'd really like to have this song on an album so I can have it on vinyl." One of their best in many years.

 

It's like their modern day Sweetness for me. It's so good!
