Sure and Certain was my gateway back in, after spinning Survivor a few times and wanting to see what else I'd missed over the years.

 

Integrity Blues def felt like they got another wind. I love their whole catalog but that's a special record imo!

 

Integrity Blues will always have a special place in my heart. Their best album post-the holy trinity

Did Futures and Integrity Blues back to back on my run yesterday. Those two pair together very well.

 

Nothing makes me feel more amped for physical activity than Drugs or Me and The End is Beautiful

 

When you’re running for 90 minutes at easy pace, you don’t really need the whole thing to be upbeat. Kind of nice to have some peaks and valleys, actually.

 

I have this thing where if people praise any one Jimmy record, I experience secondhand fomo for the others and want to express how good they also are. Want to shoutout how amazing Damage, Invented, and Surviving are, while we’re talking about Integrity Blues. This band just has a phenomenal discography all the way through.

 

It’s a GOAT discography for sure. Invented is the only one for that doesn’t connect as hard as the others. Time to revisit I guess

What's everyone's favorite song from Integrity Blues, and why is it You Are Free?

 

Gotta say I love the enthusiasm.

Honestly, with it being my favorite Jimmy album, I nearly always listen to the whole album front to back. If I had to pick a favorite, though, it'd be "Through."

 

Although The End is Beautiful is also great

You Are Free is great. So are the opening pair and closing pair. Not a bad track on it, tbh.

 

Sincerely can't pick a favorite from that album. Stunners front to back.

 

"Sure and Certain" for me, but the whole album is great.

 

Three-way tie between You With Me, Sure and Certain (what an incredible single), and Through.

Bet your ass I am throwing that on right now to finish out my work week.

 

I think the second half of the album is where things really get strong, but yeah great album

 

I could pick every single song as a favorite as it changes on every single listen. That album is really a career highlight which is wild for a band that was 20+ years into their career during its making.
