One of my first concerts ever was Blink, Green Day and Jimmy. It was a few hours away and when we got there, there was a very long line to get in. Heard some Jimmy from the line but never saw them on stage. That day on, I understood the importance of getting to a show early to see everyone you want to

Clarity (the album) is great. Not a huge fan of Blister. My fiance hates the drums in Crush, but she also hates the drums in all of Dude Ranch

If you're a reader, I highly recommend finishing John Irving's A Prayer for Owen Meany and then listening to Clarity immediately afterward (particularly Goodbye Sky Harbor). The book is one of my favorites, just absolutely wonderful, and the song is based on the book. Now whenever I hear Goodbye Sky Harbor, I get all weepy. Just an absolutely perfect album, song, and book.

Ahh ok, Youtube Music doesn't differentiate that.

Still a great song! Just felt odd in the context of the album where it was placed haha

It’s a demo/early version of Sweetness. Sweetness is on Bleed American in its final form.

  10. Christmas Card and Sweetness were tacked onto the end as an "expanded" version of the album.

    As far as Sweetness goes:
"Sweetness" was released in June 2002 as the third single from their 2001 album, Bleed American. It was originally written soon after the band finished recording Clarity but before the label had finally decided to release the album. However, "Lucky Denver Mint" became a surprise radio hit off of Clarity before the album was even released, driving the label to release Clarity before "Sweetness" could ever be added to its tracklisting.[3] The band also played the song live many times during the Clarity tour, and a demo recording of it was included on the 2007 re-issue of Clarity.

Also, I’m fairly certain the demo (not sure if it’s the version as a bonus track) was leaked by the band. I think. It’s been a minute. But I think they leaked some demos because they were kind of caught from releasing stuff from the label.

I know people don't like talking about TDAGARIM (for good reason), but I wonder if it it was inspired by Stay On My Side Tonight? It really reminds me of that

I think you'll be a big fan of Integrity Blues once you get there.

Yeah @RyanPm40 from the stuff I’ve seen you like I highly suggest you do Integrity Blues next

To be fair, he probably should do Bleed American before he can move on. The man is calling Sweetness a Clarity track.

As I said before, listen to the albums starting with Clarity and move forward.

that's how I would have done it, with Static Prevails either at the end or at some point sandwiched in the middle

Static Prevails is like a dvd bonus feature you watch after the movie. It’s interesting, but not really good enough to be required viewing.

    we disagree there

  22. Static Prevail is awesome. But I get why current Jimmy fans wouldn't like it, compared to Clarity and after. On its own, the album is great though.

  24. Seeing them bust out "Thinking, That's All" last time I saw them live was really fun.
