where's the show at? there was a massive heat wave here the week of my show and i guarantee that stopped people from going
I was at the Columbus show as well and both bands were at the top of their game. Middle Kids did a great job as well. Not to mention it was perfect weather for an outdoor show and the sound was great. Was very full if not sold out by the end. Just an all around wonderful experience.
For anyone going tonight, JEW will likely be on at 7 due to Central Park having a 10pm curfew. I imagine there still will be dipshits walking in at 8:20 because their idiot friends had to do another Jameson shot pre-gaming or whatever so don't be one of those people.
Thanks for this. I was a bit peeved when I saw Noel Gallagher/Garbage/Metric there and BOTH acts cut their set down and the show ended 10 min early (also set changes were like 35 min which was also absurd).
yeah trying to get in for less than 75 bucks lol…kinda wanna bring my son for his first show and not sure how long he’d last
I went to Liam Gallagher/Richard Ashcroft at Summerstage in 2018 and they ended the show at 9:45pm. Ashcroft cut Bittersweet Symphony from his set, and Liam cut one too. Which was infuriating considering they ended 15 minutes BEFORE the already early curfew.
I have two (2) GA floor SRO tickets for the show in Boston tomorrow 8/24. Would like to get $50 for the pair, but if you have a situation and are a big fan of the bands please reach out as I will consider gifting these to a fan. Today a couple of row A balcony seats appeared out of nowhere so decided to snag those as these are two of my top-10 favorite bands ever. so stoked! Haven’t checked out MGM Music Hall yet.
Yeah I can't figure that out. I imagine the tour manager is probably super nervous of everyone being fined so probably treats it like trying to make a flight and not cut it to the last second. However, I've been to plenty of shows there that ended at 10 on the dot so who knows what the deal is these days.
I have 3 tickets to the JEW/ManOrch show in Philly on Saturday. They were 71 a piece after fees. Would anyone like them?
god they were phenomenal in boston yesterday. both bands absolutely blew my mind; first time seeing either. have they been opening with congratulations every night this tour? i did not expect it at all and i really hope it becomes a main stay. i think i just about lost my mind by the end of that one
From what I’ve seen, it looks like they have a couple sets they are playing and only one starts with it.
They were amazing last night wow. MO was great but the crowd went absolutely nuts for Jimmy and they blew me away. First time I've seen them, just incredible.
They were excellent in Boston. I’m partial to MO, I just don’t think there’s a tighter live act out there in this general scene, but Jimmy absolutely held their own.
