  5. Lol Chat GPT went wild:

Here are some Jimmy Eat World songs that mention a house in their lyrics:

    1. "A Sunday"
"Don't lose touch, don't lose your touch / Build a better mousetrap, catch the neighbor's house"

    2. "Dizzy"
"You're just a girl all the boys wanna dance with / And I'm just a boy who's had too many chances / I'm sleeping on your folk's porch again, dreaming / She said she said she said, why don't you just drop dead?"

    3. "Sweetness"
"If you're listening, whoa / Sing it back, whoa / String from your tether unwinds (unwinds) / String from your tether unwinds (unwinds) / Up and outward to bind (up and outward to bind)"

    4. "Blister"
"With a thousand eyes and a good disguise / Hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes / When you walk away, nothing more to say / See the lightning in your eyes, see 'em running for their lives"

    5. "Bleed American"
"I'm not alone 'cause the TV's on, yeah / I'm not crazy 'cause I take the right pills every day / And rest, clean your conscience / Clear your thoughts with speyside with your grain / Clean your conscience / Clear your thoughts with speyside, never trade"

Please note that these are just a few examples, and there may be other songs where the mention of a house occurs in the lyrics.

  6. Ok this made me laugh:

asked chat GpT to write a paragraph like me, this is what it did

Jimmy Eat World's discography is an exhilarating journey through the evolution of pop-punk and alternative rock. At the pinnacle of their artistic prowess stands "Clarity," an opus that captivates with its introspective lyricism, lush arrangements, and a distinctive blend of emo and power-pop sensibilities. The album's introspective and emotive nature resonates deeply, leaving an indelible imprint on the hearts of listeners. "Bleed American" follows suit, showcasing the band's ability to craft infectious hooks, anthemic choruses, and poignant storytelling. It's an album that epitomizes the perfect balance between vulnerability and catharsis. With "Futures," Jimmy Eat World further solidifies their position as pop-punk trailblazers, exploring themes of hope and disillusionment through a refined and polished sound. Each subsequent release, from the heartfelt "Chase This Light" to the introspective and introspective "Integrity Blues," demonstrates the band's unwavering commitment to evolving their sound while staying true to their core essence. Jimmy Eat World's discography is a testament to their enduring influence and ability to capture the essence of youth, growth, and the complexities of life with an unwavering sincerity.

I thiiink they were playing a festival date yesterday maybe??

Edit: yes it was a free show at a park…so that probably explains the change in setlist.

Interesting, both bands played less songs. MO cut 5 songs and Jimmy cut 2.

So they played fewer at a no -festival date. That seems weird

One of my friends couldn't make it so I have an extra ticket to the Seattle show tonight if anyone needs one! I was gonna sell it below value on ticketmaster cause idc and they wouldn't let me sell it for anything under $45 smh

Did anyone get the setlist for the Spokane show? It didn’t get posted to Setlist.fm. I’m curious what they’ll change up this tour.

Debated going to Spokane show and I’m fine with my choice to miss it…they didn’t mix up the setlist much from the last Spokane show.

I love that they start their set with Congratulations. I haven't seen Jimmy since they toured Integrity Blues but it's almost reminiscent of that tour when they'd kick off their set with Pass the Baby. A bit of a slow burn before hitting you with it!

I thought they sounded fantastic as always last night but my complaint continues to be that the crowd energy at these co-headlining tours is not the business. I miss the energy of the crowd at their own headlining shows. Last two times I've seen them have been co-headlines and it's not the same. At least where I was standing. But they put on a great show I was like emotional at how great they always are and how they always prove they're the best
