not familiar with the original song, but it sounds pretty good if not a little underwhelming in that it ends a bit abruptly. I hope we get a few more singles soon as the tour picks up
man i don't think the jimmy cover works at all, love the manchester version of table for glasses though
Cool covers, I'm glad they've done it. Funny how Jimmy Eat World covering MO sound like the band ManDancing at times. Reminded me to revisit their last album, it's a fun listen!
article is immediately invalid because the band does not have a worst album they just have a least good album
Yeah, list is fine. Surviving is too high and Clarity is too low, but otherwise I think I'd mostly be quibbling over a slot or two in either direction for most of the albums.
Feels like a crime that Invented was ranked higher than Integrity Blues. Is there a trick to enjoying the former? I'm a big fan of most of their albums but that one's always eluded me.
Their 2010s albums are all on pretty equal footing for me. Could really rank them in any order depending on the day.
Invented is just such a great widescreen/maximal/just-moved-to-the-city album that still manages to be intimate and raw. I can see why it's not everyone's bag and Integrity Blues is a late-career classic too but Invented has a special place for me
