Why didn't anyone tell me this existed?!

 

Secured tix for San Diego. I guess that venue is just REALLY expensive now. It sucks because it's not really the best-sounding venue. But whatever. I'll finally get to check off JEW on my list.

 

After fees, my ticket for Columbus show was $62.

 

What venue? I spent the last decade in San Diego before moving to the East Coast and while I was there I feel like JEW hardly ever headlined there. Got to see them with Incubus at Sleep Train though.

 

I was thinking about going to Asheville for this tour but the handful of hotels I would typically stay at are asking almost $500 per night. Yeeeeeeesh.

It’s a newer venue.

It’s essentially the Park at the Park space at Petco. The team built a real stage in 2018 or so and now host concerts. Idk exactly how big it is but it’s definitely smaller than the amphitheater so it’s appealing.

 

I was worried about the REALLY expensive comment but I looked it up and it’s only $65. Not bad imo, might swing it later

 

It’s not bad. Cheaper than Yellowcard I think.

 

I have noticed a ton of bands I like playing there now.

 

Just looked it up. Says it’s around 6K capacity. So it fills a need in the area.

 

$67 for GA at the Armory in MN feels like a steal for those two bands. Maybe I’m just a hit dog and I don’t ask for much, but compared to a lot of shows lately, that’s a deal.

 

Apparently all my faves tour with manchester orchestra because this will be my third time seeing manchester without ever actually buying tickets to see them specifically lol

 

Going to Seattle and Red Rocks. I’m excited to see a show at Red Rocks for the first time, and to have it be these two bands just feels right.

VIP in Seattle was $100 more than just a regular ticket. I want the vinyl, but can’t justify that and the trip. Hopefully somebody rips the tracks and uploads them.

 

Starting to wrap up the pod. Doing Sweetness research now. Feels so crazy to be done with the discography soon!

 

My Chem have been letting Jimmy play 15 songs in their support slot in Australia.

Seeing them on Sunday. For me, this is heaven (I'll get my coat).
