Does it happen because the first split second of the song is literally not there, or because the grooves start a little closer to the edge of the record than usual? I have an album that does this, but if I manually drop the needle rather than just hitting play, I can get the whole song.
Time to make some new fall memories with Surviving. With both the Studio and Phoenix Sessions versions.
Yeah. Bit of a bummer to go from a Saturday show to a Thursday show- especially on the ONE day I actually have to be at the office for a film day until 530. Whatever. Will just need another coffee on the way to the show!
If somebody somehow finds that new "A Praise Chorus" cover by Ratboys that's going to accompany Dan Ozzi's paperback release of "Sell Out"...
fun lil game i came up with on the ride home since this band has such a big discography… take your favorite song off each album. now pick a lyric to be the new title of that album. what is their discography now? these were my answers, starting from Clarity as in still familiarizing myself with Static Prevails Keep Every Failure In Only To Pretend What Matters Is What Hasn’t Been Give Me The Chance Constant Debt I Almost Feel Alone Like Me Stay In My Heart
Place Your Debts makes me crave an album so bad. The atmospheric touches bring me back to Integrity Blues more than any other album. Is there any info as to when it's finally going to get released?
I wonder why they did t go through with an official release yet for this song as planned and went with the alt/acoustic version of Something Loud. Either way, new music from Jimmy is a good thing. Just curious
"Something Loud" was (is?) doing really well on radio and they didn't want to detract from that. I like having the acoustic version going into fall, giving us a different side of the same song that better fits the season.
Glad to hear the song has traction in the mainstream. Hopefully as a result it can lead to more funding to produce more music.
If anyone needs Surviving in their digital collection. The expiration date never seems to matter with these things.
Posted it in the thread for the show and I know it's a significantly bigger drive than Starland but if you were at that show and want to see the fellas again, have heard on pretty good authority they're playing Adjacent Fest in Atlantic City.
