also yeah I believe this was supposed to be a shadow drop at midnight and someone blew up their spot - band are suspiciously quiet for people with a single out tomorrow!
it's like Damage-era uptempo with better production filtered through their current sound. it is indeed something loud - in a lot of ways it's a song they'd typically announce an album with but they're not doing that quite yet I don't think
I'm being blocked from all my old tricks, like listening to the sample in iTunes New Zealand... Not cool.
I did some mild internet sleuthing and was able to hear the very short sample. I would say it's fast and up-tempo. It sounds to me like a continuation of the Surviving sound with something glorious sprinkled in towards the end of the sample that reminded me of early 2000's Midwest emo. Synth maybe? I don't know, I'm half deaf. It rips though. I love the little bit I've heard so far. Can't wait to hear more.
Their official YouTube channel has a video that you can only find through a Google search, but it looks like it's not public yet, or they took it down. We'll see.
