Show in a cool ass cave!? Sounds and looks awesome from a quick photo search. Its a 2h:42m drive but seems worth it possibly for the experience. Avondale is only 50 mins away though and that venue is great.... but its possible it could be cold(since its an outdoor stage). Haven't seen JEW since the Futures tour so it's time.
Prob Friday if I decide to go to this one since I’ve already requested two other Saturdays off in March. Ideally I would have Fri and Sat off so I don’t have to worry about getting up the next day for work early.
We just bought tickets for the Saturday night show in the Caverns. Tickets were more expensive than a standard venue, but it’s going to be so worth it. If they weren’t as pricey, we probably would have went both nights.
The Caverns were $70. I understand them being more than the average price with the show being inside a fucking cave and all, but still hurts the wallet pretty bad.
Bought tickets to the Louisville date. Not hyped on driving there and back on a weeknight, but I've somehow never seen JEW live before so it'll be worth it. Will be a little annoyed if they announce another tour later in the year with a stop in Cincy, but I'll just see 'em again.
I got my ticket to the houston show yesterday. will be my first time in the old post office/new 713 music hall.
Listened to Static Prevails for the first time in awhile, because I'm reading Dan Ozzi's Sellout and listening through all the albums featured. It's a solid enough album, but it is absolutely insane to me how thoroughly they leveled up in every conceivable way on Clarity.
So I watched Never Been Kissed tonight because "Lucky Denver Mint" is on the soundtrack, but also it's not even in the movie? What gives?
I’d assume this is all dialing in tones for the Dashboard tour. Buuuuuuuut other things could be cool, too.
