I was a lil bummed cause the energy didn't match typical JEW shows I've been too. Crowd at least around me seemed to lean more TBS and didn't have the energy level I was hoping for JEW except the bleed American songs
AGREED. Brought my sister and a friend and spent the whole day saying how nice JEW crowds are and then Spokane proved me wrong haha. My friend lost both shoes in the mosh pit and we had to do a wal-mart run after
Ugh that's ridic yeah it was weird vibes. Like I'm used to the crowd going crazy for lucky Denver mint and blister and everyone around me was indifferent and a few times people even shouted for tbs. And I'm sorry I think tbs can be fun but Jimmy is clearly on a different higher level of musicianship lol which is even more pronounced live like pls appreciate!
Haha one dude behind me between sets was like "no way, Jimmy Eat World is playing too?!" Not even funny how much more polished Jimmy was. I of course freaked out for MakeDamnSure, but they were like cosplaying as a rock band.
Meh someone screwed up the placement of Pain in tonight's setlist (it was the second or third song) but interesting to see how they're changing up with which deep cuts they do: Jimmy Eat World Setlist at Pavilion at Riverfront, Spokane
Adam barely even sang he just sorta talks the songs oop. Then u have Jim come on aging like a fine wine and the band sounding tight and pristine af. Totally different vibes for sure. But I'm biased. But also telling truths.
i had that exact thought two days ago. always the best feeling once you realize you're around the 2~ year mark
I know it's a co-headlining tour and they can't play a full headliner set but it is weird seeing three full albums spanning basically one decade of the band completely not represented in the setlist. Also I wanted more songs from Surviving.
love to be going to phoebe bridgers on friday and not having to even think about how to get into that lol
If you're just grabbing one, let me know if you'd be down to grab one for me... I'll be stuck at work tomorrow until after this is sold out I'm sure.
Same lol I'll be at Chain Fest on Friday anyways, but either of those bands inside Chain would have been legendary.
Sorry but I’ve had like ten people text me asking if I’m gonna stand in line and if I can get them one lmao
That show will absolutely be nuts... I caught FOB there when they played under the guide of Switchblades and Infidelities back in like 2005 and that was bonkers, but this may be even crazier.
