Yeah it just seems like a bit they're both doing, I know what Max's entire thing is on that account and am bored of it but it's whatever to me

 

At best, it was like a less funny version of the James Blunt bit. But yeah, it's a one-joke bit that I don't need popping up in my Twitter feed every other day.

 

I followed for that account for like two weeks and it got super old and fast so I unfollowed them.

He started shitposting a couple months ago, starting with ragging on '90s bands. He and Zach bonded over their disdain for Stephan Jenkins, and now Max has descended into political talk and a bunch of other non sequitur stuff. Zach and he have been going back and forth over politics.

 

This was tough - tracks 1, 5, and 11 especially - but I fudged it a bit to make sure everything Clarity and after was included.

It was hard leaving off "Invented" but "Mixtape" is a nice consolation prize for that album and "Dizzy" is undeniable. The only other song from Damage that I considered was "I Will Steal You Back" but "Appreciation" is such a strong opener I went with that, and then I didn't have to make a choice between "Table For Glasses" and "Futures".

Listening to this as a playlist now and it's working pretty well for me.

 

Listened to Invented on a drive today and it was just what I needed!

 

I love this podcast. Stoked for this episode even though “The Middle” is notttt my jam. Haha.

As much as I enjoy that record, it may actually be my least favorite JEW album.

 

Static Prevails for me, then probably Damage (even though I like Damage a lot still)

 

Static Prevails is definitely my least favorite as well but I always seem to include it it exclude it when ranking JEW albums
