This album is high school and the start of college is so many ways for me. Laying in bed. Late at night. Letting it just play as I stare at the ceiling and think about life and what could be and wanting to grow up.
gonna listen to this right after I finish this teenage wrist record. reading these posts has me so hyped and I know it'll exceed all my expectations
this livestream made me love the album. until now, it was always the one that never connected beyond for me this is heaven.
Would they put the teases in there and not record them? Seems kind of a given. This is the first stream I’ve watched. Really well done.
I’ve had a few drinks and am still buzzing from the livestream and really want that baseball tee, despite the less than glowing reviews of previous baseball tees by them. Someone venmo me plz
Even better than I expected it to be, Clarity is GOAT. I really hope they package up these recordings so I can throw more money at them
I am crying again. Sunday. I miss hearing live music so much. I am a 36 year old man reduced to ash by a few chords of a 20 year old song.
Just finished watching this a second time. Goddddd this album is literally perfect. And “for me this is heaven” is a masterpiece. Like who just writes that song?!?
No other album I’ve heard in my life comes anywhere close to this for me, and this is such a perfect performance of it, wow
Even a song I’ve always been “fine” with like 12.23.95 is absolutely transcendent. Keyboard/extra guitar guy (Robin?) needs to be in the band ASAP. Or at least write songs where he will have a part to play in the live show. The sound is so full and lush and layered and immersive and I’m tearing up again.
Watched it this morning and I couldn't stop thinking about it all day. This is by far their best livestream, and probably the most transcendent experience I've had watching one, out of every other that I've been able to witness in the past year. Weirdly, Clarity was initially a total grower for me. It took me years to fully grasp its influence and its wide scope. Honestly, it's only after the release of Integrity Blues, which I'll always consider its spiritual successor, that it finally clicked with me and eventually became one of my favorites. But this entire performance, holy shit, it gave me yet another newfound appreciation for the album. How can they even still improve on it more than two decades later? I literally had chills during so many moments, but I'd say Goodbye Sky Harbor's second half truly took the cake. Jim nailed it, and you could tell the rest of the band was really looking forward to seeing him attempt his sampling parts by the way they had their eyes fixated on him. It put a smile on my face! We don't deserve this band.
