Every band needs to be doing this. I ripped audio from the Bad Religion decades show and play it daily. I would love to be able to hear these versions of Futures, Just Tonight, Drugs or Me...the whole album really. I have to think some other kind of release is coming. The new Killers deluxe release today has their TV-performance, semi acoustic versions of “Caution” and “Blowback” on it. You would be a fool not to release these. We can only hope.
idk if I’m going to be able to livepost in here in two weeks for Clarity, I won’t be able to see the keyboard through the tears
Whoever that dude was needs to be a permanent part of their live show. Extra beefy guitar, great keys, killer background vocals.
I feel a lot of the streams now owe something to Underoath. I feel like they were the first or one of the first to put an actual live stream production together with a proper crew staging and lighting
@DickyCullz when did they do theirs? i know Code Orange has consistently been putting dope ass live streams since like, last March. that first one they did was incredible.
Yeah Code Orange is the first one I remember seeing. It was also like just a few days after the first lockdown kicked in, which is an impressive feat when I think about it. Hard to believe we've been watching regular livestreams for close to one year now.
I'm done, there's nothing left to show I try but can't let it go Are you happy where you're standing still? Do you really want the sugar pill? I'll wake up tomorrow and I'll start Tonight it feels so hard As the train approaches Gare Du Nord As I'm sure your kiss remains employed Am I only dreaming?
Watching this last night really just instilled what an all timer this album is for me. I really appreciate the effort they put into the audio and stage production as well. Also I’m in the camp that adores Disintegration and also don’t think it would work as well on Futures.
Def in the minority here but if they do three more of these I'd love to see Invented, Damage (total agreement with @hermanthehermit in that it would be awesome to hear those songs with this production) and a set of deep cuts. Well internet guy, what would that deep cut set look like? Okay since you asked... Disintegration Call It In the Air Over Pass the Baby Take Em As They Come (Splash) Turn Twist Hell (I know it's a Jim Adkins solo song but I love it and want to see it) No Sensitivity Integrity Blues Gotta Be Somebody's Blues Dizzy Pol Roger Closer
Any time I try to navigate to their website, I'm hit with a notification that the website isn't private and 'go back' warnings.
I first saw him on the Futures 10-year in 2014. His band Minibosses (hard rock covers of video game tunes) opened for Jimmy lol
If you watch old videos from before he played with them live, you’ll wonder why he isn’t a full member at this point. He’s just so good. And without him something is definitely missing.
Yeah, I've always been kinda curious about that relationship. I know touring members are a thing, but it feels like 7 years touring together is a bit more than that.
