To offer some more "clarity" on my Futures thoughts: 23 Kill Polaris The World You Love Pain Night Drive Drugs or Me Just Tonight Futures Work Nothingwrong Might switch the last two.
Pain has always been my favorite on Futures. I always just assumed that everyone agreed with me. Then I entered this thread lol.
welp. but you know, that is obviously saying something on the quality of this bands work. the fact that we all get so up in arms and want to yell at each other when someone says hears someone else say a particular JEW record is their least favorite. really, any JEW record could be anybodies favorite JEW record, and id totally get it... where as for saaaaay Brand New, when someones favorite record of theirs is Your Favorite Weapon. i dont get it.
It's funny that i think 3 of the weaker songs in their discography also happen to be songs where they go for a heavier and more aggressive approach (Nothingwrong, Firefight, My Best Theory) but one of my all time favorites is Bleed American which is also a heavier tinged song. My least favorite JEW song period is probably Your House
My Best Theory is one of my least favorites as well. sounds like a Fall Out Boy song to me. However, "Firefight" is gold
My Best Theory and Firefight are very good. Off the top of my head, my least favorite JEW songs would be If You Don't, Don't, Sweetness, Work, Nothingwrong, Chase This Light, and Byebyelove (not counting anything from Static Prevails, which I've listened to once or twice and don't know any songs from).
True story. In the 7th grade, I said this in a myspace message to a girl I was breaking up with. I passed it off as my own words. I cringe just thinking about it, haha.
I actually like it myself, all 3 of those songs I like to some extent, but it just kind of falls in with some other deep cuts and doesn't rise to a great tier like some other songs from that album.
I came to the realization earlier this year that I don't even like Save Rock and Roll much anymore. It was sad. None of their stuff has held up very well for me (and I never liked TTTYG or FUCT much in the first place).
