The person who ran the old jimmyeatworldonline archive mentioned on Facebook earlier that they're working on starting it back up and mentioned that they may have the okay from the band to post audio from these livestreams at some point. I miss that website!
I've seen Futures live in person. I've never been able to truly get into Clarity(but I like the Clarity Live album). I adore Surviving. It's one of my most played albums this year and those songs never get old and are constantly in my head. I'll for sure buy a ticket for Surviving at least.
Yeah these will all 3 be stellar. Nice to have something to look forward to in Jan-Feb (least favorite months lol)
I don't think it's been pointed out, but... “We are always looking for ways to challenge ourselves, to do things as music fans that we think would be cool for OUR fans. We came up with the idea of presenting a series of concert films centered around a few specific albums (for now) and performing them on a different level. It isn’t the way we normally play a show and it’s definitely something new for how we approach a performance, but we haven’t been able to share the experience with our fans in over a year… so here we go,” shares Jimmy Eat World vocalist Jim Adkins. I could definitely see a Bleed American film down the road.
buying a ticket to all three cost as much as the one time i saw them play in central park, wasn't a hard decision for me. psyched for all of these shows
The 10th anniversary Futures tour is one of the best nights of my life. I can't wait to see what they do on these streams.
Part of me wants the vip pack but tbh the virtual meet and greet seems awkward lol but I like the lithograph
I got to interview them and hang out for a bit at the Boston Clarity show. They were super nice dudes but it was a bit awkward- I can imagine it being weirder through a screen lol.
Hear You US! We’re recording the “Hear You Me” episode of Jimmy Eat Pod on Monday. Rather than overwhelm ourselves searching for covers and potentially miss some community favorites, we want to cover the ones the community has done/ found over the years! If you’d like to help, reply with links here or send them in to jimmyeatpod at gmail dot com Thanks!
