Need. More. Deep. Dives.
I’ve fallen behind on the interviews. I enjoy thr mini dives though
if you say you didn't do the head pat tummy swirl thing when they did it, you're a liar! haha
Jim and Ryan geeking out about how much Hanson rules... They get it. This is probably my favorite interview Jim's posted so far.
Hanson’s Shout It Out is such a fucking great record.
Check out Underneath, if you haven't heard that one. It's my personal favorite of theirs. But man, their last 3 or 4 albums have been sooo good. I've seen them live three times (twice by myself) and it's just a no-brainer to see them every time they're here because they are just sooo great live, even if you don't know all the songs.

Oh it’s great. Very underrated band that I think people just assume Mmmbop is all they were good for.
Two of my favourites.
Can confirm that all I have heard is mmmbop.
This is probably my favorite, but there’s so many great songs.
Yesssss one of the best songs on there for sure
I'm a tad late but I wrote about Invented over here: It Holds Up: Jimmy Eat World’s “Invented” Turns 10 - The Alternative
I'll definitely check it out later. Invented is my 3rd/4th favorite album by them and I usually see it towards the bottom of people's list when ranking. Mixtape is epic.
Problem with making so many great records is that the good records get squeezed further down the list. Doesn’t make them bad or weak records.
That's how I feel. One of them has to be the weakest but that doesn't make it bad.
I think the first time I saw Hey Mercedes was when they opened up for Jimmy Eat World
Jimmy retweeted this!
I saw and ah!
Was a great read, by the way, nice work! Inspired me to throw on Invented for the first time in several years, at least. Definitely a great record for an autumn day. And I think "Movielike" is criminally underrated. What a tune.
definitely added the article to my pod research template. :)
ah thanks so much! Movielike is one of their greats for sure, it's classic Jimmy
Invented will always be their most underrated album. Always.
