Okay, so has anyone heard their 1234 ep? I'd especially like to figure something out about the track: Indecent Exposure?
So as I've been listening to the entire Jimmy discography in reverse order I've been absolutely floored and stuck on Futures. Bleed American and Clarity are terrific records, as are most that come after Futures, but man something about it just hits the sweet spot for me.
For real! I came into Jimmy Eat World as a teenager who knew bits of Clarity, but got heavy into Bleed American. When Futures came out the songs seemed to be everything I loved about the previous album, but really felt that much more substantial. Work is my favourite "single" of theirs, with Polaris and 23 being my favourite album tracks. Just so good.
Don't tell me that it's just me who likes 1234... :( There is something else I wanted to ask you all, What's your favourite track off the new record? Mine would be One Mil followed close by Congratulation
I haven't listened to 1,2,3,4 in a long time. I'll have to revisit it soon. Favorite song on Surviving? "Recommit"
Recommit is not only my favorite song off the record, but probably my favorite song of the year. I love it so much.
With Diamond, I'm pretty devided, I really like the verses and the general meaning behind the song but I really don't dig the chorus. I think its a bit, you know, in your face and not very subtle. Thats the only problem I have with that song.
