I’m hoping it’s totally re-recorded and different. Only because I wore it out a year ago haha

 

I didn’t even realize it came out almost a year and a half ago

 

I listened once and have absolutely no recollection of what it sounds like

 

I remember thinking both songs were fantastic when they first came out, but I have not listened to either of them again since then and couldn't tell you what either of them sound like.

 

"half heart" is on par with the best of Integrity Blues, and therefore their discog

 

both songs are absolutely lovely. half heart reminds me of bleed american’s lower key songs

 

Yeah both songs are great. Love Never is a straight up banger though and I'm glad it's on the album.

 

Also if they drop the single next week that would be such an awesome birthday present.

 

So is this the week?

With the whole love never getting removed from streaming thing, it’s absolutely this week or next week

They’ll probably announce the single ~3 days in advance, and then on Friday the album preorders will be out and you’ll be able to stream love never + the new single

They're gonna re-release the exact same version of Love Never as the lead single and hope we don't notice

 

Chase This Light is a way sadder record than Integrity Blues.

I mean its Jimmy so we are definitely getting a few slower and sad but beautiful songs. But the 2 songs weve heard have me convinced of a higher banger to slow ratio than anything recent.

 

They already said the new album is more of a straight up rock album than what they usually put out.

 

It’s branded as a lyric video now, hmmmm

 

What was the old video? I only ever listened to the song on Spotify? The video posted above is a lyric video, but I couldn’t tell you whether that’s new or not.

 

It was just labeled as the “official video” so it’s a subtle change, but I wonder if maybe a more proper music video is coming at some point down the line
