I like Dizzy a lot. Might listen to Chase This Light tonight.

 

Definitely gonna have to listen to CTL soon. Carry You is stuck in my head now.

I'm not but I want to be! Never heard CTL before so checked out Dizzy after all the talk about it in here.

That makes zero sense.

 

I really like Sweetness. Heard Futures a few times and think it's ok, liked a couple of songs on Clarity but wasn't really that into it as a whole and I listened to Invented and Damage a few times each and can't even remember them. They just don't really do much of anything for me but they're so well loved I still try them out every now and then. Going to try again tonight!

 

I mean I respect anyone's opinion but based on what I know you like it kind of blows my mind that you aren't a huge Jimmy Eat World fan. Haha

 

I've had the same reaction multiple times before. I don't even get it, ha. I think it's mostly just Jim's vocals and melodies that don't always jive with me. I still hope one day it'll just click though and I'll have this discography to fall in love with like everyone else does, ha.

Jims wobbly vocals can be off putting to some I'm sure. I love it though.

Oh and best non-album tracks are Open Bar Reception, You, and Be Sensible

 

It's definitely mostly the wobble. I have a huge problem with wobbly vocals.

 

Three songs into CTL though and I'm enjoying it more than I remember liking any other JEW album.

 

I really like Chase This Light, haha.

I would have always recommended CTL to you haha

 

CTL is probably their most accessible album. You should give Futures another shot, @SpyKi.

 

On Kill now and definitely liking it more than I remember.

 

This is like when @Cody discovered Thursday I'm so excited.

 

They're another band I'm working on appreciating more. Other than No Dev I've never spent enough time with their albums. Was listening to ACBTD earlier.
