In good news, Be Sensible and Distraction have been added to Chase This Light on Spotify! I'm so happy! Not sure when it happened, but it's new since I last listened which was probably a month or so ago.

Forgot if this was mentioned but Invented is back on, with 6 bonus tracks

 

Chase This Light, Futures and others got their correct tags back. Now Invented has been changed from "Invented" to "Invented (Deluxe Edition)". Fuck my last.fm charts, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Woah.. I had no idea this existed. Only ever heard the acoustic demo. Where was this version released?!

 

Dizzy is my second favorite JEW song ever and had no idea that there was an acoustic version.

That is so awesome about the studio version of "Anais" - that one took me forever to track down but it was totally worth it.

 

It was on the My Best Theory single.

 

I've always thought the acoustic version has a better vocal performance by Jim.

 

i predict a single on friday. this reorganising of their releases on spotify could be them setting the stage for a new release.

ie. they were uploading the new single and decided "while we're here, why don't we throw some of our other stuff up there too"

thats just my speculation though.

 

I would be so ready for a new song. Hopefully soon since the tour is over and cats out of the bag on how Zach feels about Stephen Jenkins lol. Time to move in with new music and a new era.

 

Probably not really related. Interscope owns all those old records, and they haven’t been with them since “Invented,” so they’d have nothing to do with distributing the new music.

 

That's a fair point. Maybe a coincidence then, because we are due a single any day now.

 

Or maybe the new single is a Stephen Jenkins diss track and Zach is hyping everyone up for it.

 

listening to invented for the fist time in a while, good album.

 

I think I’ve gone back to that album the most the last two years. Once it clicks with you...it’s a doozy.

 

It’s arguably better than the studio version. It’s not really fully acoustic though there’s still drums and stuff
