RIP my favorite b-sides, although Chase This Light now has "Be Sensible" and "Distraction" in it.

 

The deluxe editions make sense to not be on there... but what the hell about Invented? It’s my least favorite JEW album but still!

 

Invented is very underrated imo.

I'm surprised that none of the bigger outlets (Spin, Billboard, Rolling Stone, etc) picked up on that Zach Lind tweet considering they all promoted that JEW/3EB tour.

 

Probably don’t want to give it coverage, don’t wanna rock the boat and lose access to a popular artist.

 

I mean are they gonna lose sleep over not being able to have access to what’s left of 3EB?

making news stories out of single vague tweets like that is a cancer. I mean I’m sure Zach is 100% correct but running a story on just that is garbage tabloid clickbait shit

 

I do agree with that. I guess what I meant when I said 'picked up on' was more so realizing that Zach quite literally just got off tour with Stephan and a tweet like that is really eye-opening and worth following up on and checking into, especially because those publications knew they were on tour together so I would think that they'd pick up on that.

I didn't mean they should just run a reckless story on Zach's tweet alone...but you'd think they'd pick up on the fact that something is worth looking into considering most tour mates don't publicly say something to that effect immediately after touring.

 

I would guess some journalists are probably looking into it to see if there’s anything to go off besides that tweet. Won’t know for a few weeks to months, that’s the window a story would formulate from this I feel like

 

I didn't think the tweet was particularly eye-opening. It's nothing people haven't said about Jenkins for years/decades.

 

He went on to compare him to Jesse Lacey. I thought that was VERY damning.

 

He never once used JL's name in response to that tweet, or any comparison to JL.

But again, none of this is new.
