  3. Tonight's setlist was sooooo good:

    Pain
    Futures
    Get it faster
    For me this is heaven
    If you don't, don't
    Authority song
    Always be
    Sweetness
    Hear you me
    Sure and certain
    Lucky denver mint
    Dizzy
    Work
    Blister
    23
    Love never
    Big casino
    Praise chorus
    Bleed American

    Polaris
    Get right
    The middle

Weirdly nothing from Damage or Invented but... I finally saw Dizzy so I can't complain

  4. Woah jealous. I think there was a sound ordinance thing at the Greek unfortunately. There was no encore break or anything.

They didn't open for Third Eye Blind tonight, that's why it was a longer set.

I was hoping we were going to hear a new song from the upcoming album... but Love Never was fantastic live. They are just such a solid band. I will never tire of seeing them live!

Are they swapping which band headlines each night? Or did JEW just play a show by themselves this one time?

I'm going to the Columbus date and would really dig it if 3EB played first and JEW second and got to play longer.

Pretty sure it was a one-off headline show (outside of the 3EB tour).

    he’s...really sticking with this one.

idk i get being frustrated when you've literally not stopped being in the same band for 25 years but I mean it's not personal and it's not hurting anything? idk, i can see being like oh that sucks when it happens but he's been harping on that band for a while and i don't really get why.

also mineral put out two amazing songs this year :shrug2:

also the tweet he's replying to is clearly a dig at MCS which like coming back after 4 years is a whole other can of worms (that I also don't think is a big deal really)

Yeah I don’t get it either. Sometimes people need a break. Whatever those reasons may be, they are legitimate to the people making the decisions. If they come back after only four years, that doesn’t delegitimize the break or the time away that was needed. Everyone has something going on in their lives and we all approach it differently. Who’s to say what any band members may be going through in their personal lives when they choose to step away for a while. If it turns out it’s only for a short period and they feel rejuvenated enough to return, well, more power to them. Just happy they’re okay. Something we should all strive for.

Seems like his issue is more in how these kinds of "Final Tours" and "Reunion Tours" are marketed/sold to the fans as opposed to the reasons behind why a band might take a hiatus. I can see how someone might view it as manipulative from a cynical point of view. Not saying I agree with his assessment in this specific instance but it's not a wild opinion to have.

I mean reunion and anniversary tours are ridiculously over done and becoming nothing but cash grabs, that’s just a fact. Whether that’s what the deal is with mineral or not is certainly up for debate

Lol yeah if TBS had just gone on a regular tour for a new album I wouldn't have gone. Same for the used anniversary tour. Ca$h in on that nostalgia! They get coins and I get entertainment so hey it works

Weird bitch flex but I kinda get it

I don’t get how it affects JEW adversely

Didn’t they have a split with Mineral way back in the day? One would assume these guys know each other well enough to make these sort of comments on intention

Also Jim Adkins has such attractive style to me. He always has the nicest shoes and pants. Anyway. Jimmy were great as always. Played 23 which I didn't expect at this particular show. I could stay or leave for third eye blind cause I have court tomorrow but I think I will stay.

Let me know if they're worth staying for! I'm seeing the show in Seattle tomorrow and I've not really ever listened to them.
