Listened to Goodbye Sky Harbor REAL LOUD on the way home from work today. Perfect length and I still always notice something new.

 

do you remember that?

 

One time I listened to Kill as I was trying to sleep, literally across the street from the girl I had a crush on. Such an emo moment for me.

 

Of my 10 most emo moments in life, I'd say at least 6 of them occurred while "Kill" was playing.

 

I couldn't listen to Damage for a few months after it came out because I broke up with my long term girlfriend shortly before it came out.

 

Futures is like the perfect soundtrack for those moments though. I've written about/thought about women I've liked to that album playing. It always gets those feels going.

 

Jim hasn't aged a damn day in since 2001.

 

I feel like jim has aged but like a fine wine. Idk I have a crush!! Stupid lead singer syndrome

 

I remember doing a presentation in my college's Senior Seminar class on tension and release in melody using 'Cut' from Invented. Gah, such a good song.

 

Tried to tell my cousin that Futures is the best. She says Bleed American.

That would be the exact reason I would listen to it non stop. But I’m a weirdo who loves sitting in my pain.

 

Does a live video performance of the album Bleed American in full exist? Did they do an anniversary tour for it? I can't remember lol.

 

No they didn’t because they’re not sell ours like the rest of their peers

 

Well, they did a 10-year tour for Futures, are they sellouts now?

 

I feel like they kind of started the anniversary tour craze with Clarity.
Just feels like they kind of popped up like crazy after that

 

They def played some shows with BA in full, but I don’t believe it was a full tour.

I had an article on absolutepunk about how futures 10 felt like a sincere celebration of an album and not a nostalgic cash grab and the band tweeted out my article
