Doesn't "about" in the context of that line mean "around" anyway? So it's like "do you hear the conversation we're dancing around and not actually having?" Because that's a fucking devastating image and makes that line great.

Electable feels like a different take on Sweetness, it's huge but not as good. One of my lesser favorite on CTL.

 

"Electable" has the unfortunate duty of following up one of the best four-song runs in the catalog.

 

Yep. Any song that has to follow up "Carry You" has a tough time of living up

 

I could not love 'Electable' more.

Worst song on CTL might be Firefight

 

I think the worst is the title track. Firefight is third worst

 

Also, there are really no runs on CTL... tracks 1-8 form an incredible eight song run.

Gross. If you think the best 4 song run in JEW's catalogue starts with a song named "Big Casino", it's no wonder we disagree. That song is laughable and the 3 after it are diluted JEW and not much better.
