I like Appreciation and voted for it, but I’m actually shocked how badly it’s crushing Please Say No

 

imo Appreciation is the second best song on Damage behind Steal.

 

I Will Steal You Back and Please Say No are really the only two songs I ever go back to on this album.

 

I’d probably pick Appreciation to win the album, but Damage doesn’t have obvious standouts to me like their other albums

Have you guys actually heard Please Say No? How can it be losing so badly.. One of their best songs ever.

Definitely true. I really like this album, but other than I Will Steal You Back I wouldn't really be dying to hear any of these in their setlist, for example

Where everybody went to

 

I'm gonna be away at comic con all this weekend so I might miss a round or two of this and the Thrice bracket but I'll try to keep up.

 

Really? The way the songs build up give me the same vibes. Like how the guitars layer on top of each other (adding a second additional layer mid verse) and the pulse of the drums (not the same drum beat, but the snare follows a similar pattern in the verse).

They're their own unique songs but I'm not crazy in saying I hear similarities between the two.
