Invented I also have cooled a bit on this album in the years since it was released. I think Invented, Heart is Hard to Find and Coffee & Cigarettes are top-tier Jimmy Eat World, but that's about it.
When I first heard this album, it was by far my least favorite JEW album. Since then it has grown on me steadily, and now I like quite a few songs off of it. Damage was a much more instantly enjoyable record for me.
