i mean my best theory was my fav for a bit, no stranger to out there opinions lol (that song is still SUPER important to me even if it's fallen off of my top top list)
Pass the Baby is my favorite JEW song but I'm just a very mild fan of the band and don't hold much water in this convo
I know but I am always afraid I’ll get destroyed for touching this thread, I barely survived Brand New!
We literally cannot do a Jimmy bracket cause when Polaris doesn't win I'll be destroyed and never recover honestly! For real tho, I'm not picky on set lists at all but I hate when they don't play Polaris. Last time I saw them Jim was just so into it and had so much emotion when he sang Polaris you could see it as he sang on his tip toes and it just poured out in his face and I died
I feel like the JEW thread is less territorial and would be more welcoming in that regard. Thats just me though lol
It’s also the perfect time of year to go through their whole discography. Even though Florida is still way too hot and ruins fall. JEW is still effective.
Srsly. I'm torn between wishing I'd caught that part on recording but feeling glad I was in the moment and witnessed it. That song is so special to me. I think they've played it every time I've seen them except once and I was so sad. It never gets old. One of my fave things about seeing them is that Jim always emotes so well like they're fresh new lyrics even tho he's singing these songs that are 10+ years old. Like last year he still teared up during Hear You Me and apologized at his reaction cause he had to pull away from the mic, but I think it's amazing that the songs resonate with the band still and the passion and love of the music seems so genuine.
