1) "23" - So many tears shed to this song. Unrequitted love ruled my college experience, when I felll in love with JEW, and this song was pinnacle in helping me through it. 2) "Futures" - Full-on anthem of hope. Impossible to not nod your head it it's middling tempo and sing along. 3) "Let It Happen" - One of my favorite Adkins melodies in the chorus. I am so happy this has become a live staple. 4) "For Me This Is Heaven" - saw Jim perform this during his acoustic tour. Not a dry eye in the intimate crowd. 5) "Kill" - see "23". The pleading lyric "I can't help it, baby, this is who I am. Sorry but I can't just go turn off how I feel" during the bridge is crushing.
it should be at least 3 of the same. how can you not have "for me this is heaven"?? that's my #1 JEW song, for sure. no question.
Don't start with the "how can you not" after yesterday! It's my second favorite off of Clarity if that helps!
Almost every list I've seen from here, and supporter thread Dizzy is in people's top 5! Just saying... But seriously, making a top 5 list of this band is doing a lot of disservice to a lot of songs! My top 5 could probably change daily for this band, outside of "23" and "Dizzy" and "Littlething" being top 3
I mean, at least it is a great song. But for JEW it’s middle tier. But that’s still better than most.
Can’t speak for him... But on that album alone you have Kill, 23, and Polaris. All of which are far far better than Pain. And I love Pain.
All good songs. I will totally admit half of my love for Pain is nostalgia. I still go nuts when that song comes on
Pain is a very great song but isn't one of my favorites. It makes sense as a @BTDandFeelingThis favorite, though
