The best set list I ever saw them play was when they played Polaris. That's my only criteria lol and I've only seen them play it once

 

I also got If You Don't, Don't, which was cool.

I'm listening to the trombino sessions for the first time. Man, even their demos are perfect. So, whys everyone hate jen? That song owns

 

People hated "Jen"?

 

I don't like Jen in the context of the futures era but it's a decent JEW song nonetheless

 

is renowned for being their worst song, yeah. its the reason trombino chose to quit working on futures. he wanted nothing to do with helping that song get released.

 

They wanted Jen to be their next "the Middle", right?

 

I can see why it didn't make it on to Futures, but still kinda surprised. It's not an awful song, just not on caliber with the rest of that batch of songs.

 

I don't like Jen, which is the only JEW song from Clarity-onward that I don't like.

I always loved "Be Sensible", but my fave B-side from these guys is definitely "No Sensitivity"

 

So...Expect a Chase This Light tour once they find a way to play Feeling Lucky and Gotta Be Somebody's Blues live?

Seriously though, I'd be just happy if they put Carry You back into their set lists again. Going by previous comments from Jim and Zach they do like to play it live.

 

just started digging into this band's material. chase this light might be my second favorite album of theirs after futures. and yeah i've heard clarity and ba.

2. Chase This Light
3. Intergrity Blues

 

This is one of those bands I feel like it'd be impossible for me to rank their music

It's not often that a bands EIGHTH album would make my top 3, but damn Integrity Blues is just so damn good.

I think I'd go
1. Clarity
2. Futures
3. Integrity Blues

 

I never knew this song existed until now. Looked it up and I diiiiiig it.

 

I love Futures but it's gotten knocked down for me a couple times. It got booted as fave by Chase This Light and then got booted as 2nd fave by Integrity Blues. Polaris is still my fave song of theirs tho!
