All that ever happens in these JEW threads are people ranking albums. Is there any news on a new album? It's been the traditional 3 years since the last one, I'd really like some new JEW...

If there's one direction I wish they'd have followed, it's the one they started down on Stay On My Side Tonight. Nothing's had the same depth since then.

 

They're recording now I'm pretty sure. Right now, it's seems we may get an album fall or winter.

Nice move. Haha honestly I alternate between 23 and Alexisonfire's Happiness by the Kilowatt. Obsessed with both.

"Invented" is pretty dope, too.

But "23" still gives me the same feels I've had since I first heard it. Never loses its luster with me.

I'm curious to see what kind of production they'll have on the next album. The raw(er) production on Damage really worked for that album, but I hope the next album sounds bigger. Invented and Futures probably have my favorite production.

Curious if they go self-produced or work with someone new. I liked Johannes' work on Damage a lot. Suited the songs well though, so if they're going for a "cheerier" sound, he might not be the best choice.

Controversial opinion: "Feeling Lucky" is my favorite track 7.

No one ever mentions it so I'm not sure if it's unpopular or not, but it has such energy! Gives me just enough so that I'm not satisfied and have to skip back to listen again.
