Nah I know what sparked your comment haha, just figured I'd offer up some contrarian response. I don't really expect anyone else to agree, I'm just a huge fan of that raw harsh sound they had on SP

 

I just don't find any real purpose in ranking all albums. But Futures has been my favorite for a long time now.

 

Oh, uh, and Static Prevails is the clear least favorite for me. Not bad. But just not on the same level as the rest.

I agree with both of your posts, it's kind of pointless to rank just because the Clarity-Damage run is so amazing. SP is also my least favorite of the bunch but it's still a fine enough emo album

Has anyone tried tackling their self-titled debut? (from before Static)

 

Yeah, I actually think it's a very decent pop punk album, better than blink-182's early works. There are some very creative song structures and lush, reverberated melodies in some of the later songs. Definitely worth checking out if only for context of from where they came. I enjoy listening to it casually now and again, but not as intensely as their other stuff.

I feel like I have? If I did, I listened to it once and never listened to it again. A listen would have been in like 2002? Or so? So I honestly don't know.

 

I've listened to it twice I think. It's decent to bad imo. It reminds me of The Natinals debut. It's decent I guess but they've done so much better

 

The first 3 season of this are untouchable

 

Of course the chorus.fm hive mind would prefer the first 3 seasons to the later ones ;)

Just weird to bring it back up lol but it's w/e. I think pretty much everyone agrees the first 3 seasons are pretty easily the best but that's neither here nor there

 

Yeah I was just kidding around. If you can't laugh at yourself you know. I don't think I ever saw beyond the first 2 or 3 seasons of Community.

 

I gotcha. Yeah season 4 is ass and the last two have been decent enough

 

Futures > Clarity > Bleed American > Chase This Light > Invented > Damage > Static Prevails

Also, I know it doesn't matter but w/e. Don't like any season of Community past the second, but there were a handful of good episodes still.
