Okay, I can't find a good quality version of Jen, Anais (not the demo), Mixtape (acoustic) or Step One. Can anyone help me with these? Would greatly appreciate it. None are available to purchase anywhere and searching sketchy sites isn't yielding any results.
Lol I got an infraction for asking for b-sides in the smiths thread but good to see it's totally fine here
Ah shit, really? There was talk of it awhile back in the thread so I figured it was fine as long as the songs aren't purchasable anywhere. If it goes against the rules, I'll gladly delete my posts.
There are certain b-sides that are allowed. There's a strict set of guidelines to determine which b-sides can and can't be shared.
hmmm, maybe itd be a good idea to make a bsides thread with those guidelines posted to avoid stuff like what happened to kenneth? any mods can weigh in on if its cool or not
Yeah I just deleted my post on there because I just figured it's for the best. Not sure who gave it or if it's just automatic but it was a bummer. Did not know there was a b-sides thread though
JEW shows aren't remotely difficult to get tix for in my area / fortunately for me / unfortunately for the band
I still cant believe we're getting a new Jimmy album in like less than two months. This year has been wild.
It's weird that waiting 3 years was all fine and normal, but now that we know the album is coming, 2 months seems like an eternity.
Thankfully there are a score of high caliber releases coming out in the next 6-8 weeks to help pass the time.
What are some bands/albums influenced by Jimmy Eat World? I know Basement's song "Aquasun" has sonic nods to them, along with Pentimento's latest release I, No Longer.
Jimmy Eat World is one of those bands that lots of newer bands will have as a RIYL, but in reality do not sound very alike. Kind of like how for awhile every vaguely punk band with gruff vocals got a Hot Water Music comparison
